King County Washington is located in the northwest corner of the United States, in the heart of the Puget Sound region. Comprised of shining cities, expansive suburbs and tranquil rural communities it is inhabited by a diverse, educated and cultured people. The county’s climate is mild and moderately moist. Winters are comparatively warm and mild with an average of only 15 days below freezing per year and 5.5 inches of rain per month. Summers average in the low 70s with rainfall at about 1.5 inches per month. The topography is varied from sea level to 6,270 feet. To the west is Puget Sound and to the east are the Cascade Mountains.

Built upon 7 hills surrounding urban lakes and parks and with vistas west to the Olympics and east to the Cascades and Mount Rainier, Seattle is absolutely one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
